1. What is the Privacy Policy and what does it cover?
This Privacy Policy explains how Trinity Social Inc. (“Trinity Social,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and transfers information when you use the Trinity Social mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”). It also describes the rights and choices you have regarding your information.
Please read it carefully. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we will collect and use your information as described here and in accordance with the Terms of Service.
2. What information do we collect?
We collect and process the categories of information described below. Some information is required to provide the Service; other information is optional but may affect the quality of your experience.
Information you provide
- Account information. Your name, username, email address, password (stored hashed), date of birth, and profile photo or banner.
- Content you create. Posts, captions, comments, replies, direct messages, channel messages, stories, plays, videos, livestreams, music uploads, voice posts, and any media you upload.
- Profile information. Bio, display name, link, header image, profile color, location, and any other profile fields you fill in.
- Communication with us. Support requests, feedback, and reports you submit.
- Payment information. If you make a purchase, our payment processor collects the information needed to process the transaction. We receive limited transaction details but do not store full payment card numbers.
Information about your activity and connections
- Activity. Posts you view, accounts you follow, channels you join, content you like, comment on, share, save, or report, livestreams you watch, music you play, and search queries.
- Connections. Who you follow, who follows you, who you message, who you block, and who blocks you.
Device and connection information
- Device attributes. Operating system, device model, language, time zone, and unique device identifiers.
- App and browser information. Version of the Trinity Social app, browser type, and IP address.
- Network information. Mobile carrier, network speed, and connection type.
- Location. If you grant permission, approximate or precise location data from your device. You can revoke this at any time in your device settings.
- Push tokens. Identifiers your device generates so we can deliver notifications.
Information from third parties
- Identity providers. If you sign in with Apple, we receive limited information that the provider chooses to share.
- Reports about you. Information other users may submit when they report you, tag you, or share content about you.
3. How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect to operate, improve, and protect the Service:
- Provide and personalize the Service. Show you content, accounts, channels, and livestreams that we think you’ll be interested in; remember your settings; route messages; deliver notifications.
- Process content moderation. Run text through automated moderation systems (including AWS Comprehend) and images and video through automated moderation systems (including AWS Rekognition) to detect and block prohibited content before it appears on the Service.
- Safety, security, and integrity. Verify accounts, detect and prevent abuse, fraud, spam, hacking, account takeover, and other harmful conduct; investigate reports; enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Communicate with you. Send service-related messages, notifications, security alerts, and respond to your requests.
- Improve the Service. Analyze usage patterns and performance to fix bugs, develop new features, and improve existing ones.
- Advertising. Show promoted content selected based on your activity. We do not share personal identifiers with advertisers.
- Research. Conduct internal research, including survey responses you choose to provide.
- Legal compliance. Meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
4. How is your information shared on Trinity Social?
Information is shared on the Service in the following ways:
- People you communicate with. People you send messages to or interact with see your username, profile photo, and the content you share.
- Followers and the public. Posts, plays, stories (during their lifetime), livestreams, and other content you publish are visible to your followers or, if your account is public, to anyone using the Service.
- Channels and groups. Content you share inside a channel or group is visible to other members of that channel or group.
- Search and discovery. Your username, profile photo, and public content may appear in search results and recommendations.
- Public counts. Aggregate counts such as your follower count, like count, view count, or comment count may be visible to other users.
5. How do we share information with third parties?
We share information with the following categories of third parties:
- Service providers. We use vendors to operate the Service, including Amazon Web Services for hosting, content delivery, and content moderation (Rekognition, Comprehend); a payment processor for transactions; an email delivery provider for transactional emails; and analytics providers. These vendors process information on our behalf under contractual obligations.
- Law enforcement and legal requests. We may share information in response to valid legal process or where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or abuse.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent. We share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. How can you manage or delete your information and exercise your rights?
You have the following controls over your information:
- Edit your profile. Update your name, username, bio, profile photo, and other profile fields in Settings.
- Manage notifications. Control which notifications you receive in Settings and through your device’s notification preferences.
- Block users. Block any user to hide their content from your feed and prevent them from messaging you.
- Privacy settings. Adjust the privacy of your account, who can message you, and other privacy controls in Settings.
- Delete content. Delete any post, comment, message, channel, or other content you have created at any time.
- Delete your account. Permanently delete your account through Settings. Content you have posted will be removed from public view immediately and from our systems within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
- Access and portability. Request a copy of the information we hold about you by emailing xavier@xavierplatforms.com.
7. How long do we keep your information?
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or your account, we remove it from public view immediately. Most information is fully deleted from our systems within 90 days. We may retain limited information longer where required by law (for example, financial records) or to investigate a violation of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
Backup copies may persist for a short additional period before being overwritten.
8. How do we transfer information?
Our infrastructure is operated on Amazon Web Services in the United States. By using the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. We rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
9. How do we respond to legal requests, comply with applicable law and prevent harm?
We access, preserve, and share information with regulators, law enforcement, or others:
- In response to a legal request (such as a subpoena, court order, or search warrant), where we have a good-faith belief that the request is valid;
- When we have a good-faith belief it is necessary to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security or technical issues, violations of our Terms, or to protect the safety of users or the public;
- To prevent imminent harm to a person where disclosure is necessary.
10. How will you know the Policy has changed?
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects when the policy was most recently revised.
11. Privacy notice for United States residents
If you reside in a U.S. state that grants specific privacy rights (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah), you may have additional rights under state law, such as the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of certain sharing, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

12. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
